<![CDATA[The African Chamber of Trade and Commerce (ACC) is honored to welcome you to the 1st Edition of “Journee Economique ACC” (ACC Economic Day) at, the Hilton Hotel in Yaoundé.
The theme is: « Quality, Performance, Production and Competitiveness of Local Products and Services in the Agro-Industry and related manufacturing industries.”
This is an all inclusive initiative for Cameroonian businesses and their stake holding partners from all regions involved in food, crop, animal farming (plus related businesses) to meet and address common concerns with the view to reinforce production capacities in the industry.
The vision is to encourage and promote local business partnerships. This way they work together and appreciate doing business together, for collective profit, in a true spirit of “vivre ensemble”. It also offers a platform for B2B Networking (Reseauttages).
It is a unique and innovative platform aimed at facilitating sustained contact between major and junior Agri-entrepreuneurs for enhanced visibility in their activities and possible lucrative partnerships. The target is to bring together and share across the board Agro-business know-how and experiences for start-ups by experienced corporations in collaboration with stakeholders.
ACC observes that, efforts to build sustainable start-ups continue to be inefficient in some African Regions. Faced with these imminent challenges and obstacles, most start-ups shut down at birth. This strongly affects the growth rate of SME businesses in our markets especially in the Agro-business industry.
ACC proposes an experience sharing encounter with major players whose businesses have thrived over time. This should encourage starts-ups and others on how to be resistant and resilient in their business endeavors, irrespective of inherent difficulties.
ACC believes that good governance practices oblige successful results in the value chain.
Also start-ups will learn ways of being resilient and find ways of fitting themselves in the value chain of production and services in the given industry. The anticipated result is to improve on the quality of goods and services. If achieved, this should guarantee sustained production at all levels in the agri-business milieu, for optimal competition in industries.
Thus, in the spirit of strengthening public-private partnerships and facilitating the success of North-South entrepreneurship for SMEs, ACC’s Economic Day is aimed at promoting the Agro-Business industry in Cameroon, for maximum visibility in government and private sector actions working to promote agro-business for a developing and emergent economy.
The 1st Edition of ACC’s Journee Economique (ACC Economic Day) is dedicated to a major AGRO-PRENEUR member and some partners, who will present, promote show-case and exchange their products and services with the public through platforms, drilled to allow the public and participants experience and understand how to set up and manage an Agro-business successfully.
This network platform with B2B networking meetings taking place throughout the day is key to the organizers. As such, participants will communicate, exhibit, and network to promote their products and services to the public. This opportunity should bring together a significant number of key actors working in related sectors in the value chain industry.
The rich, hospitable and diversified cultures of the Cameroonian people, coupled with several hectares of arable fertile farmland are some of the key vectors of sustained development in Africa.
The anticipated result is to improve on the quality of goods and services in order to, guarantee sustained production at all levels in agri-business for optimal competition in industries. ACC ‘s target is to set a standard where, businesses share across the board Agro-business know-how, with proven skills and experiences to assist start-ups, through a networking opportunity mentored by experienced corporations in a chosen industry of business.
Furthermore, ACC’s economic day, is also aimed at bringing added value to Cameroonian local companies in the international market and exposing her huge consumer market potential while enhancing visibility in the know-how of local companies in the global market. Most African companies need a sector by sector benchmarking standard to grow. ACC will make this a focal point on her agenda Please join us launch the Premiere edition of ACC Economic Day on November 20th 2017 from 8.00 am – 18.00 pm.
